Me I got a coffee Me I got a coffee Gotta get up gotta move my ass Got another deadline coming fast Gotta get up so I can pass Gotta make all this energy last Me It's all about me Need Another coffee Gotta make a name gotta go shake hands No time left for making plans Gotta wake up gotta get that cream No time left for stupid dreams One day these hands will play A sound that people want to hear One night, these hands will write A story people want to share But not today... Not today... Got grades to make Got mouths to feed Got bills to pay Text-to-speech voice: Just keep breathing. x16 Me I'm out of coffee Need Another coffee What if I stumble? What if I fail? What if I'm starting to lose myself? What if I lose? What do I gain? What if it's not worth all the pain? What if I'm boring? What can I sell? What if I'm going straight to Hell? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? What if I'm not special? i move sixteen hours per mile. this town has worn out my smile. i move sixteen hours per mile. winter has worn out its welcome. this town has worn out my smile. i move sixteen hours per mile. swiftly come the lies i tell them, to keep her happy for a while. i move sixteen hours per mile. this town has worn out my smile. i move sixteen hours per mile. bowl of stolen weed, it helps some replace anger with denial. this town has worn out my smile. crazy boy's worn out his welcome, but still stuck here for a while. billions of bodies bouncing, bumbling, bitching, babbling banal boisterous bile every face a simulacrum every face a simulacrum i move sixteen hours per mile. this town has worn out my smile. Step out of the shower You’ve been lonesome for too long Run that filthy towel through your hair The smell of rotting liquid bodies hits your nose so strong Humiliation lingers in the air A billion girls on a billion screens Doing unspeakable things To get back at the fathers who weren't there It might not be true adultery But still appalling when you see You've wasted another day and you don't care Music: CJ6.5 Recorded: February 2016, May 2020 Lyrics: CJ6.5 Written: 2010, 2020 Vocals: CJ6.5 Samples taken from Insane Clown Posse, The Dust Brothers, Xn, YouTube, ECHA

about

When we are young, we think the world revolves around us. We believe that of all the stories to be told in the universe, ours is the most interesting by far. When we start to grow up, we realize not only is our story not the most interesting, it may not even land in the top billion. We feel a sense of loss, and begin a process of enlightenment that starts with what we think is the mourning of our sense of identity, when it is really our lost delusions of grandeur that we grieve. With this album, I acknowledge that I am not the Morning and the Evening Star; I am not a star at all. I am just me, and I am slowly accepting that this is just fine.
